Roles & Responsibilities:
Frontend (Optional but Preferred):
- HTML, JS and front end frameworks like React, Vue
Backend:
- Familiar with Python including frameworks like Django, Flask, FastAPI
- Have a deep knowledge of best practices in building applications and RESTful services
Database Management:
- Support the creation, management, and optimization of relational and NoSQL databases using MYSQL, PostgreSQL, and other NoSQL solutions.
- Ensure data architecture and design meets performance, usability, and reliability requirements.
- Able to assist Data engineer(s) in preprocessing data.
AI/ML Knowledge (Optional but Preferred):
- Fundamental Concepts: Understand basic principles such as supervised vs. unsupervised learning, regression, classification, clustering, etc.
- Libraries: Proficiency in libraries and frameworks like TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, and Scikit-learn.
- Data Manipulation: Using libraries like Pandas and NumPy for data handling and analysis.
- Data Visualization: Using libraries like Matplotlib and Seaborn.
- Neural Networks: Deep understanding of architectures like CNNs, RNNs, and Transformers.
- Model Deployment: Deploying ML models using tools like TensorFlow Serving, TFLite, ONNX, etc. Familiarity with platforms like AWS SageMaker or Google AI Platform can also be useful.
Deployment & Cloud Operations:
- Assist in deploying applications or solutions on cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Ensure the stability, performance, and scalability of deployments.
- Familiar with application and infrastructure monitoring tools
- Able to assist team to implement CI/CD
Technical Support:
- Provide second-line technical support to users facing issues with our platform or products.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues, ensuring timely resolution and maximum user satisfaction.
- Collaborate with our development and product teams to address and prevent recurring problems.
Application Development:
- Design, develop, and implement front-end solutions for bug fixes, enhancements, and new features.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and user experience.
- Utilize or create API endpoints for application purposes
- Able to create scalable, well documented applications
Documentation & Training:
- Create and maintain technical documentation to help users navigate and use our platform efficiently.
- Train users and internal teams on new features, products, or updates.
- Assist PM in preparing documentations/templates that will assist PM and team members
Feedback Loop:
- Gather feedback from users to guide and inform the development and enhancement of our platform.
- Collaborate with the development team to implement user-requested features.
Tool building:
- Good understanding of identifying tasks/processes that can be automated or having its friction reduced.
- Collaborate with process owners to design, develop and iterate tools to solve internal/external processes
- Will require understanding of potentially making these tools as a product.
- Will assist PM in creating MVP/POC demo/product to ease sales process
- Comfortable with using Visualization tools or dashboard frameworks
Collaboration:
- Work with Data Engineers to support their data processing needs.
- Collaboration with product managers and team leads to integrate systems and solve application-related technical issues.
Continuous Learning:
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our data solutions remain cutting-edge.
- Recommend ways to improve system reliability, efficiency, and quality.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in technical support, with a focus on software or web applications.
- Proficiency in front-end development languages including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with modern JavaScript frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
- Familiar with Python frameworks like Flask/Django
- Familiarity with tools like Gradio, Streamlit would be a plus
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical information in a clear and understandable manner to non-technical users.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with ticketing systems like JIRA, Zendesk, or similar.
- Certification in front-end development or related field.
- Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
- A portfolio or project samples showcasing front-end work.
