We are seeking an enthusiastic Java Developer to join our client's Agile software engineering team. You will collaborate with senior developers, QAs, and product owners locally and remotely. Your main focus will be developing efficient and scalable software using Java, Kotlin, and occasionally Golang.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Java applications interfacing with Apache Phoenix and HBase.
• Design and implement SQL procedures for data analytics and reporting.
• Collaborate with data engineers to integrate HBase with other data pipelines.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Perform code reviews and maintain high code quality.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues with HBase and Apache Phoenix.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience in Java software development.
• Experience in building and maintaining applications that integrate multiple systems.
• Strong Linux development background.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
• Experience with SQL, Spring Framework, Kafka, and Golang is a plus.
• Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes is desirable.
