Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs.
• Participate in project planning and estimation activities, providing input on interface-related tasks and dependencies.
• Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for software development team.
• Design and document interface specifications, including data mappings, transformation rules, and error handling procedures.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure interfaces are implemented according to specifications and meet quality standards.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of interfaces to ensure accuracy, reliability, and performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve interface issues in a timely manner, coordinating with relevant teams as needed.
• Solution design based on the user requirement.
• Overseeing deployments and new releases
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, providing updates on interface development progress and addressing any concerns or questions to ensure projects are completed to standard.
• Reviewing source code
• Identifying risks and forming contingency plans.
• Performing troubleshooting as required.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior interface analysts and developers.
• Supporting on midnight and weekend for production issues, major deployments.

Note: he/she is expected to standby and reachable outside of working hour i.e to support outage or planned mid night/weekend activity.

Minimum Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree holder (preferably in Computer Science/IT field) with minimum CGPA 3.0.
• To be based in AIA Berhad office located in Menara AIA, 99 Jalan Ampang, 50450 KL
• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer or similar role
• Excellent knowledge in any of the programming languages below:

Angular (min 4+) & .NET

Angular (min 4+) & Java

iOS Application Development

• Basic understanding of how to use the Angular CLI for creating, building, and serving Angular applications.
• Understanding REST APIs and how to use HttpClient
• Excellent knowledge MSSQL database and query
• Excellent knowledge in source code management tool like Bitbucket
• Strong analytical and debugging skills
• Strong knowledge in Microsfot IIS and Websphere
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Ability to make rational decision
• Good organization skills incident manage, problem management and change management
• Experiences in ANY of the following areas will be more preferred:
