Joining as a Full Stack Developer, you'll play a pivotal role in our web development team, developing high-quality backend and frontend solutions across our different platforms. This position represents an exciting opportunity in integrating and enhancing the technology that powers Juwai IQI's global real estate platforms and services.

Responsibilities

• Development of high-quality backend applications
• Development of responsive web and mobile applications
• Expand and improve the functionality of existing components and libraries
• Monitoring and operation of production systems
• Maintain and improve databases
• Advise on technical solutions already available in the market or through open-source projects
• Presentation of key learnings and expertise to others in the company
• Continually improve code quality and standards

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related subject.
• 2 or 3 years of experience in developing web applications using PHP (Laravel), JavaScript, CSS, MySQL and WordPress.
• Excellent understanding of core backend technologies (PHP and Laravel)
• Good knowledge of basic web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
• Experienced working with large databases (MySQL preferable)
• Experienced with WordPress, theme customisation and custom plugin development
• Good working exposure with REST APIs and object-oriented concepts
• Experienced working with APIs and third-party integrations
• Understanding of infrastructure, application architecture and deployment processes
• Experience in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• Familiar with GitHub
• Familiar with Ubuntu and comfortable with working in the terminal
• Be able to speak, read, and type in English.
