We are seeking a Senior Full Stack .NET Engineer who is passionate about using technology to combat climate change. The ideal candidate will be a diligent, detail-oriented individual who is eager to not just code, but to contribute in designing, developing, and delivering impactful software solutions. They must also be an excellent team player, capable of working harmoniously with other team members towards a common goal.

Our solutions enable large real estate owners and enterprises to reduce energy consumption, improve communications, increase security and get control over property remotely through a web browser that monitors and controls the energy network. The products are installed in over 10 000 properties in Sweden, Norway, and other Nordic countries. The main product called KTC Insight.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and implement high-quality software solutions in line with company standards and user requirements.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and other developers to drive forward and deliver projects.
• Conduct research to stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques that can be used to develop innovative software solutions with a positive impact on climate change.
• Participate in all phases of the software development life cycle - from conception to deployment - ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and secure applications.
• Actively contribute to team brainstorming and strategy sessions, demonstrating a deep understanding of the project’s goals and the initiative's broader impact on the environment.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members, fostering a supportive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in software development.
• Proven experience in developing with languages such as C#, Typescript, and others.
• Strong knowledge of modern software design and development methodologies.
• Experience with software debugging and testing tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Expert in .net framework/.NET Core.
  
• Expert in unit testing (xUnit).
  
• Expert in SQL (T-SQL, PL-SQL).
  
• Good knowladge of Angular/RxJs/Material/NgRX.
  
• Good knowledge of Software Design Principles & Patterns.

Nice to have:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Prior experience in designing and developing software for environmental or sustainability-related projects.
• Experience with cloud technologies and scalable solutions (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure, etc.).
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Knowledge of Docker/Kubernetes and DevOps skills.
  
• Knowledge of other UI frameworks: React, Vue.
  
• Experience developing hybrid mobile apps with Ionic.
