Configura works with parametric configuration. We develop rules-based software to draw spaces in 2D and 3D for leading companies within the commercial furniture, kitchen and material handling industries. In the background, prices and configurations are automatically calculated. We are a global company with customers in 10 countries and users in more than 100. You will be working in a team that focuses on the development, continuous improvements and maintenance of existing and new web/cloud applications. You'll have the chance to contribute to front-end development and backend implementation for products spanning data analytics, online collaboration platforms, product configuration, and more. An important part of the products is integration with our market-leading Space Design Software (Windows based).

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Design, develop, maintain and support cloud-based applications with a focus on usability and performance.
• Work in an agile team where you collaborate with other developers, architects, product owners, product managers, QAs, and UX-designers.
• Collaborate with other teams to ensure seamless cross-product integration.
• Work on client-facing, cloud-based applications, such as administration or access control modules, analytics dashboards, etc.
• Work on cloud-based internal tooling.
• Create, maintain and perform unit testing.
• Manage and maintain CI/CD pipeline.
• Research, analyze, and evaluate solutions, proposing approaches that best suit the needs.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR

• Minimum qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent.
• At least 5 years' experience as a full-stack web developer or similar role.
• Able to integrate and demonstrate immediate value and contribution to the team.
• Good writing and verbal English communication skills.
• Collaborative and enjoy working in teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, with a focus on infrastructure design and deployment.
• Experience with server-side programming, preferably using strongly typed languages, such as Typescript (Node.JS) or Rust.
• Familiarity with both SQL and NoSQL databases, preferably MySQL, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
• Proficiency in front-end development frameworks like ReactJS, TailwindCSS or PandaCSS.

Bonus skills/experience:

• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, e.g., AWS CDK or Terraform.
• Proficiency in Linux or WSL2 environments and familiarity with DevOps practices including CI/CD pipelines, scripting, and containerization.
• Familiarity with web technologies, such as RESTful API design principles, WebAssembly or Websocket for real-time communication applications.
• Experience in data warehousing solutions.
• Familiarity with Scrum and Agile methodologies.
