IntroductionTone Technology International is an established software solution provider. As we gear for growth we are looking for a Software Engineer who stands out from the crowd, to help us realise the continued demand for our software products and solutions.What you will be doing

• You will be coding our applications and developing a set of specialised, in-house software products
• Apart from being the best buddy to everyone in your team, you need to socialise with QA Testers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters and Software Solution Architect to show that you really have what it takes
• Our QA sometimes find lots of bugs in the garden, you need to adopt them and transform them into butterflies
• We want our products to look the part. Other than turning bugs into butterflies you are required to perform enhancements and give them patches of flowers (to attract more butterflies not bugs).

What you will need

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelors Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or Equivalent
• An affinity for code-smell to analyse our codes for any underlying systemic issues
• Familiar with Agile methodologies and Agile management tools such as Jira
• Fluent with PHP, React Native, Java, SQL, jQuery, Ajax, HTML5, Bootstrap, Javascript
• Experience in mobile app development, IOS, Android and hybrid platform
• Strong understanding of web services and SOA related standards such as REST and JSON
• Proficient in GitLab source version control
• Good communications and organisation skills
• Willing to work occasional odd hours
• At least 1 year experience in similar role and capacity
• Remuneration commensurate with experience and meeting the above requirements

Advantageous if you have the following

• MSSQL or MySQL
• Spring Framework
• Progressive Web App
• Laravel web development framework
• Javascript Framework, eg: ReactJS, AngularJs, VueJs

• The journey that the successful candidate takes will be filled with coding, software development, debugging, defect management and all the things Software Engineers do, hence:
• Any application and profiles not fitting core software engineering and development, including computer networking, hardware system support, electrical or mechanical engineering will not be considered
