Job Summary:

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Web Portal Designer to join our team. You will be responsible for designing and enhancing user-friendly, visually appealing, and highly functional web portals that serve both internal users and external customers. This role blends design aesthetics with usability, requiring a deep understanding of UI/UX best practices, responsive design, and portal architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop intuitive, attractive, and user-centered web portal interfaces.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into effective design solutions.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and mockups using tools like Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or similar.
• Implement responsive and accessible designs across multiple devices and browsers.
• Maintain consistency with branding guidelines and ensure portal usability aligns with business goals.
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to refine user experiences.
• Work closely with frontend developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, UI/UX design standards, and emerging technologies.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Web Design, Graphic Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in designing web portals or web applications.
• Proficiency in design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, InVision, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and familiarity with JavaScript is a plus.
• Experience with CMS platforms, web frameworks, or portal platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Liferay, WordPress, etc.).
• Solid understanding of responsive design, accessibility (WCAG), and cross-browser compatibility.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with enterprise-level portal solutions.
• Knowledge of front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue) is a bonus.
• Basic understanding of backend technologies or REST APIs.
• Portfolio of past work showcasing user-centered design and interactive web portals.
